Affordable Housing Development in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

MLA was proudly appointed by Parrott Construction, a leading Bedfordshire-based Design & Build Contractor, to oversee pre-construction activities for the successful delivery of 15 affordable homes in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. This development, designed for a local housing association, provides much-needed high-quality housing for the community.

Our role involved coordinating the wider design team and managing the development of detailed working drawings for construction. We also handled the discharge of technical planning conditions, appointed essential consultants, and reviewed and approved sub-consultant design information. Additionally, we facilitated NHBC warranty condition sign-offs, ensured Building Control compliance, managed utility enquiries, and maintained seamless communication through site meetings and client liaison.

This project was a great success, delivering a mix of thoughtfully designed 1- and 2- bedroom apartments to the affordable housing market. We were delighted to collaborate with Parrott Construction and Hertsmere Living, ensuring a high-quality outcome that benefits the local community.
